One of the largest real estate investment, finance and management companies locally here in the Miami area is currently seeking an experienced Reporting Mgr. This company structures and makes real estate and real estate related investments through expertise in developing and managing properties and working out under performing and non-performing commercial loans and seeking to enhance the value of those investments.
This position will be in the largest division of the Companies investment activities including high-yielding real estate loans and acquired discount portfolios of loans backed by commercial or multi-family real estate and unrated and non-investment grade rated commercial mortgage backed securities to which they have the right to be special servicer.
Reporting Mgr- Financial Reporting will be responsible for preparation of external reports that are assigned to the financial reporting group and ensure said reports are delivered by the established deadlines; assisting in the implementation of appropriate controls and procedures for the Financial Reporting Department; and other miscellaneous duties as needed.

The candidate we select for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA required. A minimum of three years of accounting experience. Public Accounting experience desirable.
Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Uses multiple resources, quantitative, and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information.
Skilled in working with corporate finance and accounting systems, analyzing information, and recommending adjustments.
Must have strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Peoplesoft and nVision.
Familiarity with the applicable Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) rules for this industry.
Ability to meet deadlines, set priorities.
