Established Contruction/Property management firm here locally in the Miami area is currently in need of a Financial Reporting Analyst.The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing internal/external reports that are assigned to the financial reporting group and ensure said reports are delivered by the established deadlines; assisting Financial Reporting Manager with review of reports prepared by Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy of the reports; ensuring that appropriate controls and procedures are in place and updated periodically so that current processes are incorporated in the updated procedures; and performing other miscellaneous duties as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA. Minimum of three years public accounting experience or combination of five years public/private experience.
Makes effective use of database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management.
Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables
Uses multiple resources, quantitative, and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information.
Experience working with relational databases, statistical programs, and other tools to compile and interpret quantitative data. Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Peoplesoft experience a plus.
Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors, and peers.
Writes effectively using various styles to address different needs and audiences.
Skilled in working with corporate finance and accounting systems, analyzing information, and recommending adjustments.
Skilled at tracking, analyzing information needed to accomplish financial objectives, and recommending appropriate adjustments.
Familiarity with the applicable Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) rules for this industry.
Stays abreast of current trends and understands external and internal factors that affect business.
